Richmond invites public to comment on second phase of single family dwelling massing regulations
09 January 2017
The City of Richmond invites the public to learn about and provide comments on options for updating the Richmond Zoning Bylaw to regulate single family residential development, to improve single family house design, house massing, and landscaping.
From Wednesday, January 18 to Thursday, February 23, 2017, the City will host six public open houses throughout Richmond. The first open house, on Wednesday, January 18, will be held at South Arm Community Centre, 8880 Williams Road from 6 to 8 p.m. The open house schedule can be found online on the events calendar on the City of Richmond's website, at www.LetsTalkRichmond.ca, or in advertisements in the local newspaper.
The open house information and feedback form will be available online at www.LetsTalkRichmond.ca from Monday, January 16* until 11:59 p.m., Sunday, March 5, 2017.
Residents and interested parties are invited to attend one or more of these drop-in-style open houses to meet City planners, see display boards, review a number of proposed updates to the Zoning Bylaw and complete a feedback form.
All public feedback received from the open houses and LetsTalkRichmond.ca will be compiled as part of a staff report on the proposed amendments, to be presented for Council consideration later this spring.
For more information, call the City’s Planning division at 604-276-4395 or email DevApps@richmond.ca.
* Open house information and feedback form will now be available online starting Wednesday, January 18.
