Whether you want to learn a language, improve your computer skills, or learn to watercolour, Thompson offers a variety of general interest programs. Fitness classes and access to our fitness centre are also available at a reduced rate. Please see our fitness section for more information.

Hand in Hand with African Grandmothers - April 20, 2017 Wellness Clinics

Listen to just a few of the inspiring stories of some of the resilient and resourceful African grandmothers raising orphaned grandchildren because of AIDS crisis in Sub-Saharan Africa. Presented by the Richmond Gogos (Zulu word for grandmothers) Registration required (Barcode #1787188)
On the 4th Thursday of every month,Thompson provides a wellness clinic, often accompanied with an educational workshop. Get your blood pressure checked free of charge, or sign up for a manicure, pedicure or reflexology for less than $20. The educational workshops cover many topics from maintaining healthy cognition to strategies for falls prevention.
