55+/ Seniors Services

Wellness Clinics
Wellness Clinics are held the fourth Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Clinics provide health information, education, and holistic health services including Blood Pressure Monitoring, Reiki, Chair Massage,  Manicures and Pedicures. Retired Nurses provide free Blood Pressure Monitoring on a drop-in basis. Other services are available by appointment and for a nominal fee. To book a service call 604-238-8400.

Wellness at West – Tea and Talk Health Series
Tea and Talk is a health and wellness education series as part of our monthly Wellness Clinics. Talks are free, however registration is required as space is limited. Tea and Talk takes place between 11:00 a.m. and noon. Holistic services are available from noon to 1:00 p.m.

55+ Annual Activity Pass Programs and Activities
Purchase an Activity Pass for $11.20 and participate in any or all of the following:

Games Club Club - Tuesday 300-5:00 pm
Drop in, bring friends and play scrabble, cribbage, chess and more.

Bridge Club -Thursday 12:00-3:00 pm
All skill levels and drop-ins welcome.

Indoor Walking at West - Tuesday 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
If you like walking but not cold, wet  weather, then, Indoor Walking provides exercise and a chance to socialize.  Indoor walking runs from late fall to early spring.

Book Club
The Book Club is limited to 10 participants.  Call 604-238-8405 to find out if space is available


NEW- Knitting Club - Tuesdays 9:30-10:30 am
Learn how to knit: refresh your skills: share patterns and projects: and enjoy social time.

55+ Drop In- Tuesday 10:30-11:30 am
Come by for a cup of coffee or tea: connect with other 55+ folks; find out what's happening at West and keep in touch with the community.
