After an Emergency

The shaking of the earthquake has just stopped and you and your family have not sustained any injuries.  Now what?  Do you automatically turn off your gas and other utilities?  The kids don't seem to be injured yet they are acting differently. 

The flood waters have rescinded and you are able to return home.  Should you discard all of your food and other belongings that were touched by the flood waters?
