Jill Raymond – Musical Theatre, Drama
Jill Raymond is a British-Canadian multi-talented international performance artist with over a decade of professional experience. Her training includes a First Honours Degree in Acting, as well as extensive vocal/singing and dance courses. Her professional career has seen her performing on stages on three continents. Jill has worked with children and young adults most of her life. Currently entering her fourth year at the Richmond Arts Centre, Jill also teaches independently and at a number of other organizations in the Lower Mainland. She is passionate in crafting and developing talent and creativity in aspiring artists and future generations through theatre, music and dance.
Jim Dobbs - StageCraft
Jim has worked in the fields of performing arts, film, and entertainment technology and operations for over 30 years. Prior to joining the Michael J. Fox Theatre in 1993, Jim provided technical support for many major events and earned over 70 credits in the motion picture industry. Working within a school-based community enabled him to liaise with school district fine arts programs and support youth through performance and scholarships. He is the current Chair of the BC Section of the Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology - a national industry group involved with education, best practices and safety standards for those working in live entertainment - a member of the BC Touring Council, and a Board Member with the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra.
