The City’s biggest nautical celebration returns this summer! The 19th annual Richmond Maritime Festival will be in-person, free and open to the public with no advance bookings required. This two-day event will unfold across the eight-acre site, and will showcase a vibrant program of live music, historical characters and storytellers, heritage vessels and displays by community groups.

New this year will be a series of themed areas, ranging from the family-friendly Octopus Garden — where kids can interact with festival favourites Rikki the Rat and Lulu the Mermaid — to the Captain’s Quarters, where visitors can experience hands-on workshops.
