Sustainable Sport and Events Toolkit
The City of Richmond has partnered with the European Athletics, the City of Lausanne and Event Scotland as a Development Partner of Sustainable Sport and Events Toolkit (SSE Toolkit), created by AISTS, the Swiss-based interdisciplinary centre of excellence in sport management.
The partnership was announced in January, 2014:
Supported by Principal Supporting Partner, the International Olympic Committee and jointly developed by AISTS and VANOC, the Toolkit aims to provide event organizers and cities the knowledge and tools to incorporate sustainability into their daily operations and to execute successful and sustainable major sport events.
The SSE Toolkit was recently re-launched providing members with a more comprehensive resource, including updated case studies and more guidelines, templates, and video resources. To find out more about the new look SSE Toolkit, visit www.aists.org/sset.
