Celebrate the holiday season with Steveston Winter in the Village

Decorated historic sites, festive events and toe-tapping performances—plus appearances from Santa himself— will make this holiday season sparkly as Steveston hosts the first annual Winter in the Village. From November 20 through December 31, Richmond’s waterfront village will become a winter destination for locals and visitors who love the magic of the holiday season with 20+ free or low-cost family events.
Steveston’s beloved heritage attractions are serving up a piping hot platter of holiday features, including:
- The Steveston Museum brings back its captivating Lights in the Park illuminations and regular Songs in the Snow carol concerts. The Steveston Interurban Tram will present a special Winter Tram event with kid-friendly crafts and refreshments, and a three night caroling series located outside the Tram.
- Over at Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site, holiday enticements include the lovely Historic Buildings Light Display and bustling Heritage Christmas Craft Fair as well as a tempting duo of December concerts to check out.
- The Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site is hosting its sparkling Festival of Trees and ever-popular Cannery Farmers Market—an ideal place for gift shopping.
