About the Street Banner Program
The City of Richmond’s street banner program is a civic beautification initiative that strives to engage community members to submit creative and visually appealing designs taken from around Richmond. Banner designs are selected through an annual contest that is open to all members of the community. Entries received in the banner contest celebrate the places, activities, and experiences that make Richmond so beautiful and unique.
Unveiling of 2019 Richmond Street Banner Winners
The official unveiling of the 2019 Street Banner designs takes place on February 25, 2019 during the monthly City Council meeting. The winning artists and community judging panel members will be in attendance as the designs are revealed for the first time to the public. Check back here to see photos of the winning designs and be on the lookout for the new designs on our city streets in early March.

Past Banner Designs
Looking to own a copy of your favourite previously displayed street banner design? Past year’s banners and recycled banner bags are available for sale from the City's Parks Department. To place your order, please visit the Parks main reception Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Banner orders can be paid for and picked up at the Parks main reception located in the Community Services building at the City of Richmond’s Operations Yard, 5599 Lynas Lane. Availability is subject to change.
Please note that the banners for sale are from previously displayed collections, meaning that they have been up in the elements (sun, rain, wind, and snow). Because of this, banner quality and appearance may vary.

Pricing
Street Banners are sold for $10 each or $15 for two.
Recycled Banner Bags are sold for $8 each.
Preferred payment methods: debit, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Exact change is required if paying by cash.
