Recycling Champion

We Need Recycling Champions Like You

We know there are many Richmond residents like you who recognize how important it is to recycle and reduce waste – and we want to work with you! By becoming a Recycling Champion, you’ll get tools and support to work with your neighbours to increase recycling in your building.

How It Works

We provide you with:

  • an information kit with tips on recycling and drop-off programs
  • a training session and ongoing support to help you become a recycling expert

    • We ask you to:

    • lead by example by using all the recycling options available;
    • assist your neighbours by providing tips on recycling and answering questions; and
    • let us know when you need additional information materials or new carts, posters and labels for your recycling area.
