Lurking spiders, oversized bats and ghostly owls return to the Richmond Nature Park this year for the annual Halloween Hoot. Drop-by to this free, outdoor, family friendly event and wander the Halloween-decorated Pond Trail with over 30 inflatables, 10 unique nature-themed art installations and a spooky tickle tunnel.

Halloween Hoot runs daily, rain or shine, from Saturday, October 19 through Sunday, October 27 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Boo-tiful pumpkins just waiting to be carved will be available for purchase (all proceeds to the Richmond Nature Park Society.)

With recent Nature House renovations now complete, come by and check out the Urban Wildlife display and the Once Upon a Pumpkin displays. A gourd of gloom pumpkin will also be on display, and the lucky visitor with the closest guess to its exact weight will win it.

The Nature House is open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm and admission is by donation, with all proceeds supporting the Richmond Nature Park Society’s year-round educational programs.

The Richmond Nature Park is located at 11851 Westminster Highway, at No. 5 Road. On-site parking is limited for this popular event. Visitors are encouraged to take public transit or car pool. Overflow parking is available on weekends, south of Westminster Highway along No. 5 Road.
