Become a Committee or Advisory Committee Member
You can volunteer your time as a member of a Committee or Advisory Committee to Council. The Committees are designed so the public can provide input to Council on emerging issues and specific areas of concern to Richmond.
Committee members attend regularly scheduled meetings and make consensus-based recommendations to Council, having a voice and impact on Council decisions.
To learn more, visit the Advisory Bodies page.
External Consultations of Interest to Richmond Residents
As a public service, we encourage Richmond residents to participate in consultative initiatives by other public authorities. However, these initiatives are not undertaken by the City of Richmond and we have no role in the conduct of this activity or the outcome.
