Program Instructors
Richmond Community Associations are always seeking instructors to lead quality recreation programs at Richmond community centres. If you are a people person with passion to share, apply today!
The City and partners offers a wide variety of programs for all ages. Programs are offered seasonally and are set well in advance of start dates. Visit the Program Registration page for a list of current programs.
If you are interested in teaching at one of the community centres, complete and submit an Instructor Application.
Submit an Instructor Application
- Applications are collected an ongoing basis and reviewed as needed.
- A coordinator will contact you if you are selected for an interview.
- Applications will be kept on file for two years.
If you have a specific program to propose to a community centre, complete and submit a Program Proposal.

- Proposals are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
- A coordinator will contact you if more information is required or you are selected for an interview.
- Applications will be kept on file for two years.
New programs are developed according to the following timeline:
- Fall programs (Sep-Dec) are set by May
- Winter programs (Jan-Mar) are set by July
- Spring programs (Apr-Jun) are set by September
- Summer programs (Jul-Aug) are set by March
If you are open to teaching existing programs as well as your specific program, complete and submit both the Instructor Application and the Program Proposal form.
