Parking Concerns

Community Bylaws will not accept anonymous complaints. To report an illegally parked vehicle (car, truck, trailer or heavy machinery),please contact Community Bylaws and advise them of the vehicle location, make, model, and licence plate.

During the above days and hours (including weekends,evenings and most holidays),you can request a Call for Service directly to a Bylaw Enforcement Officer (be advised that due to request volume, Officers are not always able to reply).

Parking Tickets (Notice of Bylaw Violation)

To request clarification on a Parking Ticket, email disputemyticket@richmond.ca or call 604-276-4345 and provide the 8-digit violation number (top of ticket - "V1234567") or the vehicle licence plate number.

Parking Ticket Dispute Process

Most bylaw violations, including Parking and Animal Control, are vetted through the Provincial Adjudication System (previously handled by the Provincial Courts). To learn more about the adjudication process please refer to the Disputing a Ticket & Adjudication page.
