For precautionary purposes due to COVID-19, The Richmond Animal Shelter is available to serve our community during regular public hours of operation - 10am to 6pm daily, except for statutory holidays when we are closed. Adoption viewing hours are 12pm to 3pm, Friday to Tuesday. We are closed for adoption on Wednesdays and Thursdays. If you wish to visit the shelter to adopt outside of our adoption viewing hours, please call the Richmond Animal Shelter and make an appointment. Visitors are asked to wear masks when entering the shelter and to respect the physical distancing directions in place. Please refer to the BC SPCA website or call 604-277-3100 for more information.
