Community Energy & Emissions Plan 2050Richmond’s Community Energy and Emissions Plan (CEEP) 2050 includes multiple actions within eight strategic directions that together will set Richmond on a path to achieve 50% reduction in community GHG emissions by 2030, and reach net zero emissions by 2050. The plan was adopted by City Council on Feb 14, 2022. |

Climate Action ProgramsThe Climate Action Programs document highlights the City’s varied plans, strategies and actions that directly and indirectly address climate change issues in Richmond. As a community made up of islands located in the Fraser River’s estuary, the City of Richmond was one of the first municipalities to establish itself as a national climate action leader. |
