Westminster Highway Recreational Trail


Take in the great views of North Shore mountain ranges, farm land and agricultural activities along this paved cycling and running route from No. 6 Road to No. 8 Road, along the Westminster Highway corridor. Exercise caution as this recreational trail runs adjacent to Westminster Highway traffic flow, and vehicle congestion can become quite heavy during the peak traffic periods between 7:30am and 9:00am and 3:30pm and 6:30pm.

Richmond Nature Park and Nature Park East

These parks offer a nature interpretive centre, walking trails, a short boardwalk trail suitable for wheelchairs and strollers, unique bog vegetation, observation of birds and animals, a picnic area, parking and washrooms. Visit Richmond Nature Park page for more information.

King George / Cambie Community Park

This large 30-acre park in East Richmond offers various amenities that include an artificial turf field, spray/waterplay, community garden and a picnic area.

Sport amenities at this park include five sports fields, four ball diamonds, three basketball courts, three tennis courts and spectator bleachers. No. 7 Road Fishing Pier

This restored former barge loading pier is situated along River Road and has an open grass area, woodlot and small beach. A washroom and limited parking is available.
