Hamilton Highway Park is a 7.18 acre green space located in the Hamilton area. Predominantly a large open field, it serves as an informal dogs off-leash area, complete with a water fountain and picnic tables.
Construction Update - Summer 2024
Following project delays, habitat compensation work has resumed at Hamilton Highway Park, with planting expected to be completed in fall 2024. While the park remains open to the public, due to ongoing disturbance a temporary dog off-leash area has been created in McLean Park to provide an alternative for Hamilton residents. Planning for a permanent dog off-leash facility in McLean Park, including community engagement, will commence in winter 2024.
REMINDER!

- All dogs must be currently and visibly licensed.
- Dog owners must maintain effective verbal control of their dogs and always be able to see their dog when off the leash.
