The Shell Road Recreational Trail is an off-street, gravel, 3.6km multi-use trail that runs north-south along the Shell Road corridor, between Alderbridge Way and Athabasca Drive (north of Williams Road). Running between agricultural lands and lined with trees and shrubs, it has a distinctly rural feel that offers a unique experience in Richmond. There are several points of interest and key connections that can be reached via the trail, such as the Richmond Nature Park, and the Horseshoe Slough Trail.
