CLOSURE NOTIFICATION

Due to safety concerns, access to Mitchell Island Pier is closed indefinitely.

Mitchell Island Pier is unique 1.067 acres park and fishing pier located in East Richmond. At one time, this rail line was used by Western Canada Steel to access the BC Hydro line at Fraser Street. Now, Mitchell Island Pier is now most frequently used as a fishing pier and scenic viewpoint with excellent views of the North Arm of the Fraser River and related river activities.
