Join us for a free gang prevention information session designed for parents, guardians and caregivers. Learn from experts with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of BC, Richmond RCMP and Touchstone Family Association on how to identify and prevent gang involvement.
Topics include: Recognizing and addressing warning signs of gang involvement, internet tips to help children navigate the digital world safely, the significance of maintaining open communication with children and youth, strategies for strengthening connections with children and youth to facilitate challenging conversations and available supports and services for children and youth at risk or those actively involved in negative behaviours.
There are two sessions to choose from, available from 6:00 to 8:00pm on:
Monday, September 23 in room M.2.004 at Richmond City Hall, 6911 No. 3 Road
Tuesday, November 19 in the Performance Hall at the Richmond Cultural Centre, 7700 Minoru Gate
