Pride Week - July 29-August 4

Pride Week 2024 web banner

Pride Week in Richmond is a celebration of members of the Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and gender diverse (2SLGBTQI+) communities in our city. Happening annually starting the last Monday of July, Pride Week features inclusive events and interactive activities with local leaders, artists, performers and community members. Events are presented by the City of Richmond in partnership with Community Associations and Societies, and the Richmond Public Library.

Pride Week 2024 honours and celebrates the 2SLGBTQI+ community. The theme for this year’s Pride Week in Richmond is “Pride Together,” which symbolizes the power of community spirit and allyship, and all that we can accomplish when we come together to promote inclusion and belonging.

Celebrate "Pride Together" and foster a city where everyone can live authentically and be their best selves. A list of events happening around Pride Week is listed below. All events are free of charge unless otherwise stated.
