Youth programs focus on employment and leadership, and programs may be online or in-person. Some programs may be delivered outside of Richmond, but available to Richmond youth.

A welcoming hub for families with children 0 to 6 years that provides drop-in programs throughout the city. Family Support Workers are available to provide parenting support, resources and information. An active Richmond Family Place membership is needed to attend drop-in programs.

Connections Community Services
Employment programs support youth (16 to 29 years) with employment or educational goals, especially for youth in or preparing to transition out of the child welfare system. A volunteer leadership program and Indigenous support programs for children, youth and families are also available.

Pacific Autism Family Network
Provides employment and training opportunities for youth and young adults living with disabilities, including Autistic and otherwise neurodivergent individuals. Programs include Jobs, Employment & Training (JET) to develop life skills; Employment Works focusing on job readiness; GO Group that offers temporary, goal-oriented supportive employment opportunities; and Paper Planes Cafe that provides hands-on training in the restaurant and service industry.

Pathways Clubhouse
Provides support to youth and young adults to promote a sense of mental well-being and reduce stigma. The Youth Program is open to individuals ages 13 to 18 years, while the Young Adult Program is open to individuals 18+ years with a primary mental health diagnosis.

Free program for youth 13 to 24 years to learn media literacy skills in a supportive environment. Programming includes drop-in sessions (during which supervised youth can work independently) and a variety of structured sessions. Anyone can refer youth to the program, including youth themselves.
