Steveston Museum & Post Office

Steveston Tram

London Farm

Experience rural life in Richmond during the 1890s to 1920s at this Edwardian farmhouse and its surrounding gardens, once home to the London family and their farm workers. This four-acre agriculturally-themed park features a beautiful perennial and community garden, farmhouse and barn depicting how the London Family lived in the early 1900s.

Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site

Once the largest cannery of its time, the Gulf of Georgia Cannery is a Parks Canada National Historic Site that brings Steveston’s roots as a historic fishing village to life. With more than 7,500 artifacts on display, the museum showcases the machinery used for fish canning dating back to 1894, when the cannery was originally built. Interactive challenges and informative displays about West Coast fishing history round out the experience.

Public Art in Steveston

Scotch Pond

Located in Garry Point Park, Scotch Pond is a heritage site that features the remains of wooden boardwalk pilings constructed in 1899 as part of the Scottish Canadian Cannery operation. The pond was originally a slough that was dredged and connected by a channel to the Strait of Georgia.
