Artist Statement

285 Apples is a stacked pyramid of life-size apples installed on a plinth located on the edge of a small public plaza with seating and two community garden boxes growing vegetables and fruit. Anyone can walk directly up to this sculpture for a closer look as the bright red attracts the eyes of those walking, jogging or cycling along this route.
