More Pickleball Coming to Richmond
- Completed: Six new dedicated pickleball courts opened on Wed, July 15, 2026. Shared lines have also been added to one tennis court at South Arm Community Park, creating four shared tennis/pickleball courts.
- Next steps: Other sites will be assessed for shared line opportunities.
- 2026: Two new pickleball courts are under construction at Burkville Park.
- Long-term: A new Sport Court and Sport Field Strategy will help guide future court locations.

Shared Courts - Tennis and Pickleball
Shared courts have been created to serve both tennis and pickleball players. Lines for four pickleball courts have been added to an existing tennis court, which is now designated as a shared-use court. Players from both sports are welcome to use the court.
