Monday, June 1
Opening Event - Taste of the World
Step into a lively global celebration where cultures come together in the spirit of friendly international festivity. Travel the world through a variety of delicious food stations, each showcasing unique flavours and traditions from around the globe. Discover fun cultural facts, enjoy the sounds of live music featuring beloved Canadian classics and feel the excitement of a worldwide gathering brought right into Richmond.

Bus Transportation
Parking at the venue is limited, so relax on this round trip shuttle to and from the Opening Event at Minoru Centre for Active Living. Pick-up/drop-off available to/ from Cambie, City Centre, Hamilton, Sea Island, South Arm, Steveston, Thompson and West Richmond Community Centres. Pre-registration required. Call the individual facility to register.
Pick-up: 11:30am-12:30pm – Transportation to and from the opening event at Minoru Centre for Active Living will be available.
Return Shuttle: 3:30-4:30pm – Return shuttles every 20 to 30 minutes.
Steveston Japanese Historical Walk
Reflect and acknowledge the Japanese influence in Steveston on this walk through time, followed by refreshments. Registration required.
