Artist Statement

"Butterfly Way" is inspired by the David Suzuki project to create native plant gardens to attract pollinators, this series highlights moths and butterflies and the flora they need to thrive.

"Our Fellow Richmondites" highlight local urban wildlife, creatures often overlooked or thought of as pests. Skunks, raccoons, squirrels, and crows are highly intelligent and have complex social rituals just like us. Bats are endangered and should be protected. And rabbits are builders, creating hidden highways and homes underground.
