Richmond civic services closed Family Day

Richmond civic services will be closed on Monday, February 15 for the BC Family Day holiday and will resume on Tuesday, February 16 at 8:15am.

During the closure, many services remain accessible 24/7 through the City of Richmond’s website at www.richmond.ca. These online services include a variety of transactions, interactive tools and data searches. In addition, most information, forms, bulletins and flyers are also available on the website.
While City Hall will reopen on Tuesday, February 15 for tax and utility payments, general access to City Hall, the Works Yard and select other facilities remain closed to the public as part of the City's response to COVID-19.
For emergencies such as broken water mains, sewer problems, downed trees on roads, traffic lights out or other problems, please call the City’s 24-hour Emergency Line at 604 270-8721. Things to do this Family Day weekend
While City Hall may be closed, there are over 40 free, low cost and safe Family Day weekend programs and activities. For a list of online and in-person programs, visit www.richmond.ca/familyday.
The fitness centres at Minoru Centre for Active Living, City Centre, South Arm, West Richmond and Thompson community centres will also be open for registered visits. To view the schedule and sign up for available registered fitness centre, swimming and skating sessions, go to www.richmond.ca/register. Simply click on the BROWSE AND REGISTER button and choose from the Registered Visits.
Please note: Total Fitness Monthly/Annual Pass holders can use their pass at any of these centres on the public holiday for no extra fee.
The Registration Call Centre will be open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Family Day.
