Civic services closed for Thanksgiving holiday

Richmond civic services will be closed on Monday, October 11 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Services will resume on Tuesday, October 12 at 8:15am.

During the closure, many services remain accessible 24/7 through the City of Richmond’s website at www.richmond.ca. These online services include a variety of transactions, interactive tools and data searches. In addition, most information, forms, bulletins and flyers are also available on the website.

While civic services will resume on Tuesday, October 12, select facilities remain closed to the public as part of the City's response to COVID-19. Visit the Changes to City Services and Facilities page on the City’s website for more information and updates.

For emergencies such as broken water mains, sewer problems, downed trees on roads, traffic lights out or other problems, call the City’s 24-hour Emergency Line at 604-270-8721. Residents can also fill out an online Customer Feedback Form to request a service or report a problem, which will be reviewed during regular business hours.

Arts, Culture and Recreation opportunities
To browse available programs and to register, visit richmond.ca/register. The Registration Call Centre will reopen on Tuesday, October 12 with hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Community Fitness Centres are also open for drop-in visits on Thanksgiving as follows:

City Centre Community Centre	9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Minoru Centre for Active Living	7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
South Arm Community Centre	8:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Steveston Community Centre	8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Thompson Community Centre	7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Watermania	10:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
