Pre-order a Salmon BBQ at Home meal for July 1

Pre-orders are now open for the Salmon BBQ at Home, a special culinary offering that is part of this year’s online Canada Day at Home, presented by the Steveston Salmon Festival. Simplify your Canada Day dinner with this ready-to-cook meal for four that costs $35 and features a fresh sockeye salmon fillet and sides, packaged by Canfisco and Save-On-Foods. Proceeds will go to the Steveston Community Society and Richmond Agricultural and Industrial Society in honour of the Steveston Salmon Festival.

The delicious Salmon BBQ at Home package includes:

  • 1.2-1.3 lb. wild sockeye salmon fillet
  • Potato salad
  • Fresh green salad and dressing
  • Buns
  • Four drinks
  • Large bag of potato chips

Pre-orders must be received by Tuesday, June 22. Meals will be ready for pick up via a COVID-19-safe drive-through on Wednesday, June 30 from noon to 7 p.m. at the parking lot located at 4320 Moncton Street, across from Steveston Community Centre. The Steveston Salmon Festival is rooted in history and heritage and the Salmon BBQ at Home is a great way to re-create one of the best-loved elements of the festival in a safe way during this ongoing pandemic.
