Biography
Hee Jun Ahn is a ceramic and community based artist. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Maryland Institute College of Art where she majored in General Fine Arts. She is pursuing a concentrated study on ceramics at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. Hee Jun has facilitated various public art and community-engaged projects.
She has engaged with many vulnerable populations with creativity. Projects include producing public murals with at-risk youth to commemorate African American heritage in Baltimore, MD. Outside of community projects, she is a ceramics instructor at Hand Eye Design Ceramics studio.
