Biography:
Horace Reginald Lee was born May 28, 1892 in Greytown, New Zealand. Son of Albert Brook and Mary Jane Lee and brother of Norman, all from Steveston. On his Attestation Paper he listed his trade as farmer, single, height 5 foot and 4 inches, with a dark complexion, blue eyes and dark brown hair. He listed his religion as Church of England. He joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force on May 14, 1916.

Private Horace Reginald Lee died while serving in the Canadian Infantry (BC Regiment) 7th Battalion January 28, 1920. He received both the British War Medal and the Victory Medal. He is buried in Vancouver's Mountain View Cemetery.
