Effective May 27 to July 1, 2024

The City will commence repairs to the Cambie Road overpass at Knight Street to address damage caused by an overheight vehicle in February 2023. MDBS Quattro has been contracted to carry out the work commencing Monday, May 27, 2024.

Project Duration:
The repair work is expected to last approximately five weeks.

Traffic Impact:

• Knight Street: Southbound lane closures will occur during overnight hours only from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. At least one lane will remain open at all times. There will be no lane closures during daytime hours.
  
• Cambie Road Westbound: The outer lane will continue to be closed. Additionally, the inner lane will be closed during day shifts on two specific days to allow access for concrete trucks. Exact dates for these closures will be communicated in advance once known.

Detours:
No detours are required for this project.

Additional Information:
The City will install information signs on the Cambie overpass and its approaches to keep the public informed. Drivers are reminded to observe all signs, reduce speed in the construction zone to ensure safety, and consider avoiding the area during the repair work.
