Do you know an emerging or established artist, arts leader, cultural practitioner, educator, group or arts business that has significantly contributed to the arts in Richmond and is deserving of recognition? Nominate them online at richmond.ca/ArtsAwards until 5:00pm on Monday, March 10, 2025.

Nominations are being accepted in six categories:

  • Arts Education
  • Artistic Innovation and Excellence
  • Business and the Arts
  • Cultural Leadership
  • Volunteerism
  • Youth Arts

All artistic disciplines are eligible: culinary, literary, performing and visual arts, as well as craft, environmental arts, new media and social practice.

The award winners will be honoured at a gala awards ceremony hosted by Mayor Malcolm Brodie at Richmond City Hall Council Chambers.

The Richmond Arts Coalition will award a $300.00 cash prize to the winner of the Youth Arts category, which recognizes an artist 24 years of age or younger, whose artistic practice demonstrates outstanding promise and commitment to the Richmond arts community.

The 17th annual Richmond Arts Awards are presented through a partnership between the City of Richmond and Richmond Arts Coalition. The program has recognized 96 honourees since 2009.
