Children and youth ages 5 to 18 can stay active and have fun all summer long with the $29 Summer Active Pass, available for purchase starting Tuesday, June 10. The pass offers unlimited access to a wide range of drop-in activities across the city from June 14 to September 1.
For a one-time fee of $29, pass holders can enjoy drop-in swimming, skating, pitch and putt golf and more. Offered in partnership with Community Associations and Societies, the Summer Active Pass is also valid for access to fitness centres (for ages 13 and older), drop-in group fitness classes and select drop-in activities at community centres, including open gyms for basketball, volleyball and more.
The participating facilities are:
- Minoru Centre for Active Living
- Watermania
- South Arm and Steveston Outdoor Pools
- Richmond Ice Centre* (public skating only)
- West Richmond Pitch and Putt*
- Cambie, City Centre, Hamilton, South Arm, Steveston, Thompson and West Richmond Community Centres
*Skate and golf club rentals extra.
The $29 Summer Active Pass is a low-cost way for children and youth to stay engaged, active and socially connected throughout the summer months.
