Four 2026 Lulu Awards have been presented to projects that strengthen Richmond's neighbourhoods and public spaces, as part of the City's urban design awards program. The awards were presented at the City Council meeting on Monday, October 26.

Held every four years, the Lulu Awards celebrate visionary thinking and innovative design in buildings and public spaces across Richmond. Award recipients are recognized for enhancing neighbourhoods, supporting community life and reflecting high standards of urban design.

"The Lulu Awards recognize projects that make Richmond a better place to live, work and gather," said Richmond Mayor Malcolm Brodie. "Congratulations to this year's recipients, whose work shows how thoughtful design can protect our natural areas, enhance our neighbourhoods and create welcoming spaces for everyone."
