O Zone Photo Documentation

The O Zone was Richmond's celebration site during the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The O Zone Photo Documentation Project was a community-based, "street photography" project initiated by the City of Richmond Archives and carried out in partnership with the Richmond Photo Club. The project provided daily images of O Zone activities for display in the Archives' History Lounge during the games, and for permanent preservation in the Archives. Twenty-two photographers participated. Of the 2000+ images acquired, a small sample is included in the following galleries:
