Due to the very common first name and surname it is virtually impossible to research this individual's life and death.

There is a James Scott, born 1880 in Scotland, farm labourer in the Mellis household (in Eburne) listed in the 1911 Census. The 1915 Hendersons Directory also has a James Scott listed living in the Wm Mellis residence in Eburne.
