City of Richmond civic services will be closed on Monday, July 3 for the Canada Day statutory holiday. Civic services will resume at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4, including public access to City Hall.
While civic services are closed, many services are always accessible through the City of Richmond’s website at www.richmond.ca. These online services include everything from applying for a dog licence to signing up for MyRichmond. In addition, general information, forms, schedules, bulletins and local events can also be found on the website.

For emergencies such as broken water mains, sewer problems, downed trees on roads, traffic lights out or other problems of this nature, call the City’s 24-hour Emergency Line at 604-270-8721.

This long weekend is an ideal time to visit arts, cultural and heritage venues or spend time outside at one of Richmond’s many parks. Contact each facility directly for hours of operation.
Join us at the Steveston Salmon Festival on Saturday, July 1st. The festival returns to a full program this year starting with the popular Canada Day parade and wrapping up with fireworks at Imperial Landing.
