In light of the ongoing Canada Post Strike, the City of Richmond would like to remind property owners and businesses that many of our payment services remain available through alternative methods, including online and in-person.
Utility payments
For residents wishing to take advantage of the 10 per cent discount, payments for the 2024 third-quarter metered utility bills are due on Thursday, December 5.
Payments can be made:
- Online through myRichmond. For more information on utility fees, visit richmond.ca/utility-fees.
- In-person at financial institutions and through their websites.
- In-person at City Hall (6911 No. 3 Road), Monday to Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please note: cash payments are not accepted at City Hall.
City payments to suppliers
City staff will contact suppliers when a payment is ready and will confirm arrangements for those wishing to pick up cheques at City Hall. Please note: photo identification will be required for cheque pick up.
The City also offers direct deposit as a secure, convenient, and sustainable payment method. Suppliers interested in receiving payments via direct deposit can email treasury@richmond.ca to request the Direct Deposit Enrolment Form.
