The City of Richmond is reminding residents, property owners and businesses that many City notification and payment services continue to be impacted by the ongoing Canada Post strike.
Development Permit Panel meetings
The strike currently prevents the City issuing public notifications by mail to residents and businesses in the surrounding area of a property subject to a Development Permit Panel (DPP) meeting. As a result, people are encouraged to visit the Public Notices section of the City website to see if there is a development in their area. The next DPP meeting is Wednesday, December 11 at 3:30pm. Two properties are on the agenda:
- Development Permit 23-018128 at 9200 Cambie Road: A permit for the construction of a single-storey building with convenience store and restaurant use at 9100 Cambie Road.
- Development Permit 23-011558 at 5300 No. 3 Road: The construction of a mid-rise to high-rise mixed use development of 1,075 residential dwelling units including 141 Low End Market Rental and 160 market rental units at 5300 No. 3 Road (Lansdowne Village – City Centre).
