Connect at Richmond community centres trying dozens of free activities September 6 to 11

Join the fun, get active and connect with other community members with dozens of fun, free and creative activities at City of Richmond community centres. Community Connects Week runs Tuesday, September 6 through Sunday, September 11 with in-person and online activities for all ages found at www.richmond.ca/connects.

Pre-registered and drop-in Try-It programs and activities at eight community centres include: Bollywood Dancing (55+ years); Character Design and Visual Storytelling (9-15 years); Customer Merch Design (10-16 years); the Burkeville Farmers Market (all ages); Preschool Open Houses; Fitness Centre Orientations (13-15 years); Family Jazz Dancing (all ages); Multisport (6-8 years); STEM Demonstration (all ages); online Total Body Conditioning (18+ years); online Senior Strength Fitness (55+ years); and more. Live performances and special events including the Harvest Full Moon Celebration and Hamilton Night Out Movie in the Park are also happening.

Community Connects Week is a great way to meet neighbours and experience the many fun, creative and recreational programs and services available at Richmond’s community centres.

All the Community Connects Week programs and activities are free of charge. Register early, as spots are limited.
